Gerry Wubben has done work in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, theatre, and digital media. His mentors are artists throughout history who have made a lasting impression on the world. Wubben received a BFA in Printmaking from Colorado State University, and an MFA in Printmaking at Indiana University. Born in Grand Junction, CO, he served as Full Professor of Art at McNeese State University for 30 years. He now lives and makes work in Greenville, SC. His work has been in over 300 group exhibitions and 30 solo exhibitions. Notable venues include the Louisiana Museum of Arts and Sciences, New Orleans Contemporary Arts Center, The Arts Center of Western Colorado, the Dishman Gallery at Lamar University, Southwestern University, Abercrombie Gallery at McNeese State University, and Lake Charles City Hall. |
