Kenneth Baskin is a ceramic sculptor who transforms his sketchbook drawings into lithographs and silkscreens. He credits his practice to, and counts among his influences, the professors who helped shape him into an artist as well as his own life experiences. Born in Detroit, MI, Baskin earned an MFA from the University of South Carolina. He now lives in Lake Charles, LA, where he is a Professor of Art at McNeese State University. His work resides in the collections of the Asheville Art Museum, Arkansas Arts Center, and New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum. |
